Dr. Solomon Appiah Kubi: A Remarkable Biography

Dr. Solomon Appiah Kubi, the CEO of Solak Biochemist Limited, was born in Kumasi, Ghana, to Dr. Jacob Owusu Ansah and Madam Faustina Ankamah. He was named after his grandfather, Appiah-Kubi, reflecting a strong family tradition.

Dr. Solomon began his academic journey at Kumasi High School, where he majored in Science. His passion for biochemistry led him to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he earned a degree in Biochemistry in 2004. During his undergraduate studies, he specialized in black metabolism and gained valuable experience through an internship at the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority in 2002.

His career began as a Drug Analyst in the quality control department of a pharmaceutical company. His diligence and commitment earned him a promotion to Quality Control Supervisor, a position he held for four years. Recognized for his accomplishments, he was later promoted to Production Manager, where he served for another five years.

In 2012, Dr. Solomon ventured into entrepreneurship and established Solak Biochemist Limited. Although the company faced initial challenges, it experienced a breakthrough in 2015, becoming a leading player in the health sector. To deepen his expertise, Dr. Solomon pursued a master’s degree in Pharmacognosy at KNUST from 2020 to 2022.

Beyond his scientific endeavours, Dr.
Solomon also explored theological studies, earning a Ph.D. in Theology from New Life Bible College, an institution affiliated with the USA. His dual academic achievements in science and theology reflect his multifaceted career and dedication to both professional and spiritual growth.

Dr. Solomon’s contributions to the healthcare sector are profound. He has developed numerous herbal medicines that address a range of health issues, including stroke, bone problems, diabetes, stomach ulcers, hypertension, infertility, breast cancer, kidney and Liver related diseases, and more. Notable products include Solak Herbal Mixture, Prosafit Capsules, Ziipman Capsules, Tupain Capsules and Ointment, D-Mix Herbal Mixture, and Dudo Herbal Mixture.
